TNREGINET is a portal by the Government of Tamil Nadu through which the citizens can apply for various services provided by the Government at tnreginet.gov.in. Through this portal, the citizens can find about various services provided by the government, avail themselves of those services, and also get themselves registered on the portal.

TNREGINET Registration

  1. Visit the Official Website of TNREGINET Portal.
  2. Go to Registration > User Registration.
  3. Here, you will be asked to enter the information to get yourself registered on the portal. The information includes User type, user name, password, security question, email, date of birth, gender, mobile number, select type of ID proof, enter the number of ID Proof and Address.
  4. Click on the Get OTP button. You will receive an OTP on your mobile phone/ email address.
  5. Enter the OTP in the given field.
  6. Click on the Complete Registration button to submit the registration application.

Apply for an Encumbrance Certificate through the TNREGINET Portal

Here is how you can apply for the encumbrance certificate through the TNRGINET Portal:

  1. Visit the Official Website of TNREGINET Portal.
  2. On the Home Page, enter your username and password under the login section along with the Captcha code and click on Sign In.
  3. Once signed in, scroll down on the home page. You will find the Encumbrance Certificate section.
  4. Click on the Apply Online option.
  5. The Encumbrance Certificate Application Form will appear.
  6. Fill in the application form and click on the Submit option.
  7. The form will be submitted. Make sure that you take a printout of the application form for future correspondences.

  1. Visit the Official Website of TNREGINET Portal.
  2. Go to E-Services > Encumbrance Certificate > View EC from the top menu.
  3. Select either EC/ Documentwise / Plot Flat Wise option.
  4. Enter the Zone, District, Sub Registration Office, EC Start Date, EC End Date, Village, and Survey No. details.
  5. Enter the Captcha code in the given field and click on the Search button.
  6. The Encumbrance Certificate with the associated information will be shown.
